Current Outreach Events

King City Church is partnering with Mission of Hope to spread joy and share gifts at Owsley County Elementary School!

Mission Of Hope is an amazing ministry that provides Christmas gifts each year to thousands of students in rural Appalachia. We are going to help the students “shop” for their gifts, while sharing the true meaning of Christmas. We are asking for volunteers to join us on Monday, December 15th to support this amazing ministry.

We are meeting at Owsley County Elementary at 8:15am on Monday December 15th. If you need a ride, we can accommodate that! Call or text Harrison Lane @ 859.937.1051 for more information.

King City Church partners with Mission of Hope for their annual back to school backpack program at Owsley County Elementary School! 

Mission of Hope is an amazing Ministry that provides backpacks, school supplies, and hygiene products for over 10,000 elementary school students across rural Appalachia. 

Volunteers help organize and distribute backpacks loaded with school supplies to each student. Watch this space for your next opportunity to support this mission in Eastern KY!
